D&D - Kopio

A collection of pictures featuring my changeling druid, Kopio! (They/Them)
toasterpip A changeling druid named Kopio. They have dark skin and hair, golden eyes with black sclera, and somewhat animalistic teeth. They are perched on a tree stump in a forest background, smiling up at someone behind the viewpoint. They wear hide clothes and have many colourful bracelets.

They're a changeling druid, with huge "wild child" energy due to growing up away from civilization - first in a wild swamp, then in a scrap of the Feywild that they fell into. They're not great at People Stuff yet, and love animals of all kinds.

Also, testing out a few things like methods for rendering darker skin, a few brushes for hair painting, and the new Glaze app.

Their hide-and-fur clothing and colourful bracelets are unchanged from their usual form, however. Their expression and pose shows how uncomfortable this form makes them feel, looking down and wringing their long-fingered hands. The background features silhouettes of clockwork gears.

Kopio's true form was revealed when the group went to Mechanus, the Plane of Law. They do not like this form, owing to severe persecution they endured as a child for their appearance.

Kopio got access to elemental forms, so I decided to practice some painting at the same time as I drew the art for it!

Kopio has gone through a few outfit changes over their journey, with some notable features here.

Kopio's dark hair is flowing as if bouncing with their step, and a peacock-feather hairpin peeks from behind their head. The background is a watercolour wash of greens and blues, with a yellow-orange aura around Kopio.

First, an outfit they donned for a dance competition with the archfae of the sirens! They did a lot of research into siren culture to assemble the look and the dance they performed. With the help of their friends, they won and unseated the decrepit old archfae who'd been letting his realm fester. A vibrant new archfae has taken the role, and is revitalizing the waters of the sirens' fey wilds.

Next, the outfit they adopted for everyday adventuring following their victory against the siren archfae. It incorporates some elements of the costume, while retaining a more subdued look. Sadly, Kopio was not in a great place during this time.

When one of their adventuring group, Fenri, got married, Kopio got some very fancy pants made for the occasion!

They wear robes inspired by the Achaemenid empire, with a cape made of long colourful palm fronds topped with a furred mantle. Jade antlers wreath their head, and their dark hair is done in a style that flares in the back and drapes to frame their face as they stare at the viewer. Behind them, a vague form of themself but much larger looms, presenting the smaller version of themself between its hands while enormous eyes stare at the viewer.

Most recently, they have ascended to claim the throne of the changeling archfae after defeating their cruel mother with their friends. They strive now to make their realm a home for the changelings, a place they can feel safe and wanted.

D&D Critters

Shapechange Forms

Using the spell Shapechange, Kopio can turn into some very powerful creatures, such as:

The shape of a pair of regal antlers and a crown floats above their head, while a golden flower sits on their brow. Ethereal blue drapery glides over their arms and around their body, off either side of the token. They are making a sweeping gesture, as numerous blades of energy manifest in their hand's wake.

An Aurumach Rilmani, a celestial keeper of the way of the world whose blades of force unerringly seek the weakpoints of those who would throw reality to chaos.
